A collection of my favorite images captured in and around Rondane National Park in Norway during the autumn of 2016.
During a recent workshop in southern Norway we stumbled across a big group of alpacas enjoying life. See the pictures (and some puns) here!
Having a white Christmas has always been what awakes the Christmas spirit in me, even when we have celebrated in the tropics it has been an calming feeling to know that back in Norway the cold, fresh snow has covered the land. Even though I love summer and sun, the Norwegian winter has a special place in my heart.
Sunday night I witnessed a lunar eclipse for the first time. Looking back at it now, it is the most fascinating phenomenon I have ever witnessed in nature.
Laatefoss is one of these locations I returned to because I could not get enough of it. It's located right outside of Odda, about a 6 hours drive from my home - and I've now spent two sunrises at this unique waterfall. What shocked me was how much the scenery changed in less than two months!
Two weeks ago we had a spectacular night, better than any I have ever seen here in the east. The lights where dansing above is and we even got a touch of purple Aurora in the sky. To make the night even better, there was no wind, giving beautiful reflections in the lakes.
A couple weeks ago, a friend and myself decided to go photograph a rather unique mountain in our "local" area. We had been there the week before to do some scouting, exploring different angles and figuring out the angles of the sun. Since we were aiming to shoot both sunset and sunrise, we chose to camp up in the mountain rather than taking the steep hike in the middle of the night.
A while back I was contacted by the team of Norway Travel Guide to become a part of their blogger team. With the same owners as Guide to Iceland, Iceland's most popular travel guide, Norway Travel Guide aim to inform tourists that are planning a visit to Norway.
